    smaller... with(x)for(c.width|=j=3;j--;beginPath(fill()))for(i=4;i--;fillStyle=hsl(${j?(t+j|0)*90:45} 90%${25+20*S(j?a:2)}%)q=j&&i<2,ellipse(960,q?760:340,300,99,0,a=((q?j-i:j+i+1)-t%1+.5)*1.57,a)
  • u/cantelope
    nice. the lack of perspective is an opportunity ;) i have this for(c.width|=i=6;i--;x.fill())for(x.beginPath(j=4);j--;x.fillStyle=`hsl(${60*i},99%,50%,.3`)x.lineTo((w=960)+S(p=(A=Math.atan2)((a=[S(p=1.57*j+.79),C(p),.7])[i%3]*(l=i<3?-1:1),a[(i+2)%3]*l)+t)/(Z=(C(p)+3)/w),540+a[(i+1)%3]*l/Z)

    very cool. like the morphing / moving dots / lines #cube #3d
  • u/tomxor
    Very neat. The migration of the points gives it quite an etherial look.

    "You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile." (comes up in my mind when I see it)

    Well done. Looks very nice. Can somebody explain me what this is about: [a,b,z]=x[q]||[0,0,6.3]. I assume it has something to do with arrays... Thx :-)
  • u/tomxor
    It's called destructuring. The right hand side simply evaluates to an array (x[q] or [0,0,6.3] is x[q] is falsey). Then the elements of this array are assigned to variable names based on positions on the left, e.g a=0, b=0, z=6.3. Note that the left hand side is syntactic sugar, it's not an array literal.
  • u/UEZ
    @tomxor: thx for your explanation. :-)
