    As with many things in life, the theory is quite simple: you simply take two virtual cameras and place them approximately 62 mm apart, pointing them towards the same point (your object), and that should create a rather convincing 3D effect.

    The math in R() ensures the farthest voxels from the viewer are drawn first regardless of rotation. If a 2**X by 2**X grid is labeled the obvious way (with the numbers 0 to 2**(2*X)-1 left-to-right, top-to-bottom) and n is the index of a given corner, then i^n maps i to an ordering that starts at n's corner and ends at the opposite corner. Rectangles of 2**X by 2**Y might also work. The math in R() is somewhat obfuscated for golfing purposes.

    The tank in my game is blue or orange, but red was all I could manage in 140b! I really squeezed this one to get it to fit!

    I apologize in advance, the game is hard. Move backwards to avoid their shots and then move towards them to take a shot and repeat. I do realize that it's not easy for most people to do this.
