I just want to know how you guys just wake up one day and think, "Hey that's a good dweet idea, lets make that!" and make the dweet without any issues.
  • u/magna
u/deobfuscate Oh, there are so many dweets still in the making, or simply failed or tossed out. Only the survivors make it here. And it's %50 happy accidents. A very few are super intentional from the get-go.

awesome progression and artistic purposing of this function :)
  • u/joeytwiddle
What's going on here? How can you use bitwise not (~) on a floating point number?
  • u/joeytwiddle
Oh, it looks like ~ makes the number negative, and then rounds it down
  • u/joeytwiddle
So with n+~n+.5 you get a sawtooth in the range -.5 to +.5, based on the fractional part of n

This is more efficient than fillRect() but it's too long! c.width|=c.style.filter='invert(100%)' (This way, we also need to change clearRect into fillRect)
  • u/magna
c.style.filter='invert(' suffices since browsers are notoriously forgiving
