    i wonder if there is a way to mix this with Kalanchoe's technique from https://www.dwitter.net/d/1395
  • u/donbright
    something like this r=Math.random t?o.push({X:480*r(),c:~~(r()*99),Y:0,ẏ:1}):(o=[]) c.width=480 o.map(a=>(x.fillText(String.fromCharCode(a.c++),a.X,a.Y+=a.ẏ)))
  • u/sfz
    well, if you change the for loop to something like for(i=99;i>18;t+=i--) it gets rid of the clumpy crap on the left side, but I didn't figure that out until afte posting.

    The clumpy crap is my favorite part

  • For those who are wondering h is meant to just represent half the height of the screen. I just wound up using it in inappropriate places because it was roughly the right number for what I needed

    I like this, you can save a couple bytes: c.width^=0;for(i=24;i--;)for(j=24;j--;)s=S(t+=1.1)*((j+i&1)*2-1),x.setTransform(C(t),s,-s,C(t),i*99,j%12*99),x.fillRect(-9,-49,19,99)
