Cool stuff. It breaks on capitalized letters though. Add a.keyCode==16?0: into the start of your onkeyup method, which allows the shift key to be pressed.

Got to level 8, pretty hard throw Z-2. Only issue is that difficulty is slightly tied to OS key repeat delay and rate. But keyup is not fitting in here so I don't see a solution.
