    Laptop only?
  • u/dwardu
Works on mobile/laptop, but on desktop appears as “100% & charging.” I would have liked to tackle this by modifying the expression to “ℓ<1&&b.charging?t%ℓ:ℓ”, but I couldn’t find a way to reduce a further 5 characters!
  • u/dwardu
Could be written as “ℓ<1&”, so 4 characters really.

Hmm, on desktop-windows-firefox I'm just getting "navigator.getBattery is not a function"
  • u/AnnanFay
Ah, this would explain it: "From Firefox 52 onwards, the Battery Status API is only available in chrome/privileged code."

Yes, after your comment I did some research and made this discovery too.

    Why the square?
  • u/dwardu
It’s a real-time plot of Frames-Per-Second vs time; if it’s looking like a rectangle/square, it’s because your FPS is constant.

  • Splits 1920px×1056px canvas into 20×11 grid of 96px×96px tiles. Once every 9 frames fills a random tile black or white. Every frame picks a random 2×2 group of tiles and draws it onto a random 1×1 tile at ½ the size.
