I'd try wider, supposedly biological brains are very shallow, but massively parallel.

Paul Erdős said about the Collatz conjecture: "Mathematics may not be ready for such problems." He also offered US$500 for its solution. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collatz_conjec…

I tried to visualize something with the Collatz Conjecture a few weeks ago but I didnt come up with anything good.. I bet someone can do some nice stuff with it here.
  • u/lewdev
Yeah, I figured there's a way to build out visuals like the ones in the video. I just did a quick one to get started. Math is a great inspiration for dweets.

neat! some more inspiration for visualizing Collats here: https://youtu.be/RzQE2Q7lsT4

  • Sometimes when I'm bored, I use dwitters "random" function. Today it lead me to this dweet by u/KilledByAPixel :-) - I had to try to golf it to see if i could fit it without unicode compression. I also tryed the linked game "Bounce Back!" what a great game in only 13k. By the way, u/KilledByAPixel congrats on winning JS1024.fun - greate game in only one freaking kilobyte of incompressable javascript code! What a feat!
