    Shortened by 5 characters: for(c.width|=a=0,N=50,P=44/7;a<N*N;)x.fillRect(980+S((j=0|a++/50)/N*P*2)*150+S((i=a%50)/N*P)*300,540+C(j/N*P*2)*150+C(t+i/N*P)*300,5,5)

  • taste the rainbow maximum amperage edition
  • u/iverjo
    Ooh, the red/orange/yellow thing top left almost looks like a flame. A flame variant with only flame colors would be nice, I think

  • it looks like if you keep an accumulator variable in a feedback loop, you can get C to produce more random looking results. (except for at the very start.)

  • spot the pattern
  • u/iverjo
    S(i*t*2246795327919) is kinda nice and smooth, with less patterns
  • u/iverjo
    S(i*(t+9)*2246795327919) is even smoother (in the beginning)
  • u/donbright
    these ones where you erase and re-draw are really interesting.

  • I was first thinking of doing alot of 3d rotating boxes but didnt find any good,,, ;) then I thought of reading pixels as letters and do all code I need on the picture but code got to long,, so a simple animation will do.

    i actually posted this on accident looking for a cheaper way to get randomish looking numberss than Math.random()
  • u/iverjo
    Good quest
  • u/iverjo
    In some cases T(veryLargeConstant*x) or S(veryLargeConstant*x) can look random enough
